what do you think about the new facebook home page design for profile users? we understand that facebook is rolling out the new design in different stages. some of our app users have it, but some don't.
we have had a good look at both old and new ones. as usual, new designs take a while to get used to. having said that, we actually quite like the new home page design:
(a) the top banner is now much clearer with various options.
(b) the navigation of different items are also better on the left (narrow) side
apart from that, not a lot has actually changed.
i know users don't actually have a choice, but we do like the new home page design...

So far I like the new facebook. It's definitely more organized. I wish they would give us options to choose 1) whether you want to see who is a fan/group of what, 2) If you just want to "like" a status and not get emails about follow-up comments, and 3) if you don't want to know who became friends with whom, because you don't know everyone that your friends know.
ReplyDeleteI think the biggest thing that I want to see changed is making more options. "Turn off updates about fan pages" or "Only see status updates on News Feed" and "Only see friend's photo album updates on news feed." Things like that.

I hate all the hoops I go through to just see status updates. The news feeds is a bunch of clutter. Otherwise, it is better organized
